Due to the poor level of service associated with the existing stop sign controlled intersection, Laberge Group was retained by the Village of Colonie to perform a traffic study for the purposes of determining what can be done to improve vehicular traffic flow. Laberge Group collected traffic data and subsequently performed a Signal Warrant Analysis. The Analysis concluded that a traffic control signal system is warranted. The Village has retained the firm to perform all design activities for the installation of the signal system.
